Hockey Cheer Tryouts

SFFSC Hockey Cheer Tryouts
We are excited to try announce tryouts for the Hockey Cheer team for the 2026-27 Season!
Register now, the tryout date is quickly approaching!
Registration Deadline: Sunday April 12th
When:
● Thursday April 16th
● Dryland Tryouts
● On Ice Tryouts 7:00-7:30 PM
Who:
● SFFSC Home Club Members in 8th-12th Grade
What:
● Enjoy learning official cheers used for the Hockey Cheer Team that incorperate common cheerleading practices, such as counts, pompom use and choreography, lifts etc.
● During this trial program Cheerleaders will learn to lead cheers used in the stands and on the ice. Cheer and
● Cheerleaders will learn a Cheer program to music.
● Coaches will be present for the entirety of the event.
Pompoms will be provided to use for the duration of the four weeks. Cheerleaders will get to bring them home to practice, but must return them at the last practice.
Cost: $80
IMPORTANT MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT INFORMATION
All skaters are considered members of the Sioux Falls Figure Skating Club, which requires a SFFSC Membership. Your membership must be current before we are able to welcome your skater onto the ice. If you do not have the required current membership you will receive an email from our membership manager with instructions on how to purchase or renew your membership.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
SFFSC has the right to cancel any session, class, or event that does not reach the required skater minimums prior to the registration deadline. All deadlines are set a minimum of seven days prior to the day of the event. Any invoice created to enroll a skater in a program past the deadline to register will be subject to a $5 invoice fee. Should any session be canceled, you will be notified via email and refunded. Registration & Processing Fees are non-refundable. Sioux Falls Figure Skating Club releases responsibility and liability of all participants at the conclusion of each event as specified in the event schedule.
