The Scheels IcePlex will be closed for up to 8 weeks due to equipment repair, during this time all SFFSC programming is canceled until further notice. This includes Learn to Skate, Hockey Academy, Aspire, Freestyle Ice, Advanced Classes, and Theater on Ice. 2024 SF Autumn Classic Compete USA Announcement.pdf
Compete USA is a competitive figure skating experience for beginner skaters that's part of USFS. The events are designed to be fun and introductory, and they help skaters learn about the competitive world of figure skating. Compete USA competitions incorporate skills from Learn to Skate USA and USFS, and they're open to skaters who are members of either organization.
1st Time Competitor Package
$95 per Skater
To register: Choose the lesson time for your skater to attend.
- Skate rental (if needed)
- (4) 15 minute pre-scheduled lessons with a SFFSC Coach
- One entry for a compulsory program without music in the 2024 Autumn Classic
- Use of a Club dress or option to rent one from Rae's Skating Wardrobe
- Support the day of the event
- One practice session the day of the event (to be communicated via email)
- Competitor gift for participating in the competition
- Competition 101 guidance from Coach Tasia
- Mondays (9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/21) 6:00-6:15 PM or 6:45-7:00 PM
or- Sundays (9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20) between 5:00-6:00 PM (15 minute increments)
The competition and practice ice schedule will be available approximately 2 weeks after the close of entries. All participants will be notified via email once available.
