Hello and happy fall! With the skating season in full swing, we have two important updates for our members:
New Ulm Fall Festival: Registrations for the New Ulm Fall Festival competition are now available here: https://nuskate.org/activities/fallfestival/

We hope to see many of you there, and will be planning a fun social event for those skaters attending!
Volunteer Opportunities: We need your help to make this year a success! If you're interested in volunteering on one of our committees, please let us know by responding to this email!
Fundraising/Sponsorships: Volunteers will help support and sustain Sioux Falls Figure Skating Club by planning and promoting fundraising opportunities, helping secure sponsorships and providing input on fundraising expectations for members.
Skater Engagement & Junior Board: Volunteers will help make SFFSC a place to have fun by facilitating the Junior Board and assist the Junior Board in planning and hosting fun social events for the entire club.
USFS Test Sessions: This committee will be led by the USFS Test Chair, who will lead volunteers in planning and implementing USFS Test Sessions. Duties may include: arranging judge travel, lodging and hospitality, assisting with schedule development, and volunteering during test sessions to check in skaters, run test sheets, etc.
Competitions: This committee will be led by the Competition Coordinator(s). Volunteers will help plan and host SFFSC's USFS and/or ISI competitions. Duties may include: recruiting, scheduling and training volunteers to serve during competitions, arranging bake sales and raffles, securing trophies and awards, coordinating vendors, arranging judge and coach hospitality, etc.
Shows: This committee will be led by the Show Director(s). Volunteers will help plan, host and promote SFFSC's Holiday and/or Spring shows. Duties may include: recruiting, scheduling and training volunteers to serve during shows, arranging bake sales and raffles, assisting with costume ordering, assist with show pictures, etc.
