LEARN TO SKATE

Learn to Skate offers fun and engaging group classes for skaters of all ages and skill levels!  Class offerings include Tots, Snowplow Sam 1-4 (ages 3-6), Basic 1-6, Pre-free Skate-Free Skate 6, and Teens & Adults (ages 14+).


ASPIRE

Aspire is a 2-3 day a week program that includes both on and off-ice training for skaters in Basic 6-Freeskate 4 who are looking to take the next step in their figure skating journey. 


FREESTYLE ICE

Freestyle Ice is practice time for your skater to work on skills and competition programs. Various dates and times include: Sunday afternoons, Monday evening, Tuesday morning, Thursday evening, and Saturday mornings.


HOCKEY ACADEMY

Hockey Academy is a skating enrichment program through the SFFSC. Athletes in this program will work with coaches each week on strengthening their skating skills as well as balance, on ice agility, power and speed to help them become stronger hockey players.


ADVANCED CLASSES OFFERED:

Elements / Spins Specialty Lesson with Coach Olivia / Ice Dance / On-ice Moves in the Field & Gliding Maneuvers / Power / Power Edges & Turns / Jumps & Spins: Low, Intermediate, or High / Axels Class / Off-ice Jumps & Drills / Yoga


SUNLIGHT SKATE

Sunlight Skate is a Learn To Skate program through the SFFSC. This program is offered during the day. Skaters in this program will work with coaches each week on developing their skating skills as well as balance, posture, and power, to help them become confident on the ice.


DAYTRIP SKATE

Daytrip Skate is a program through the SFFSC offered during the day. Skaters in this program will visit the Scheels IcePlex to try out ice sports! The goal of this program is to give students a new space to work hard, overcome obstacles, and develop teamwork skills.
