ICE RULES

  • Sportsmanship is expected of all the skaters, parents, and coaches, both on and off the ice.
  • All skaters must check in before they enter the ice. o All sessions must be paid in full prior to admission to the ice.
  • Courtesy is to be shown for a skater performing their program to music. Please give the skater the right of way.
  • It is the responsibility of all skaters and coaches to avoid getting in each other’s way.
  • If you are on the ice surface you must be in motion. If you must stop for any reason, please move to the sideboards and look around before leaving the boards again to avoid colliding with another skater.
  • No standing in the middle of the rink, no stopping and talking on the ice – please exit the ice to rest and socialize.
  • Skaters must avoid the jump harness when it is in use, even if your music is being played.
  • All skaters are eligible for one program to be played before a skater plays their program for a second time, unless that skater is in a lesson or no one else is waiting to go.
  • To be on the ice, a SFFSC waiver must be signed. To use the jump harness, an additional waiver must be signed. Copies are available at the front table.
  • Parents, friends, and family are encouraged to enjoy their skater from the bleachers or the lobby. Current members only on the ice.
